Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities  
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, including inspections, repairs, and replacements
Troubleshooting: Identify problems by observing, listening, and testing
Installation: Install, modify, and commission mechanical systems
Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
Inventory: Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies
Documentation: Document maintenance work and keep records of faults and repairs
Project management: Plan and manage projects, and prepare estimates and reports
Training: Provide guidance to maintenance crews and train staff on equipment maintenance
Quality: Ensure that maintenance operations meet quality standards
Compliance: Ensure that equipment meets certification requirements
Other duties  
Implement maintenance programs
Notify obsolete equipment
Monitor maintenance costs
Liaise with clients and other colleagues
Propose technical improvements
Respond to breakdowns and malfunctions
